The goal of Marlin Tower, LLC (MTL) is to provide high quality vertical real estate and support services at competitive prices. Our customers include Cellular/PCS providers, AM, FM and TV broadcasters, paging companies, wireless broadband providers and two-way radio firms as well a numerous government agencies. Because MTL is owned by broadcasters, we know the tower rental business from the inside out. We have designed a first class facility that is very user friendly, combining state of the art technology with unsurpassed coverage at reasonable rates.

Our site on Avon Mountain offers a commanding view of Central Connecticut and beyond. The ground elevation at the site is close to 700 feet above sea level, and our two 347-foot towers provide 360-degree coverage of the area (check out our photo section). Some of our users experience coverage as far as Keene, New Hampshire, Poughkeepsie, NY and the North Shore of Long Island! The site is unique in that it is the only site on Avon Mountain that has significant capacity available at competitive rates.

The MTL facility offers an attractive alternative to building a new tower. This is extremely important considering the fact that the siting of new towers in the area is nearly impossible due to Ridgeline Protection Acts, Siting Council issues, an adjacent watershed and wetland areas, a nearby historic Revolutionary War Hospital site and some of the most expensive real estate in the state. Another problem with erecting a new tower in the area is the expensive and complex detuning required by FCC rules to accommodate the two nearby AM broadcast stations.

Our newest tower was over-designed and is extremely strong utilizing solid leg construction, and can accommodate almost any kind of antenna at any height between 50ft. - 312ft. In addition, should the need arise, the tower is capable of being extended to a height of nearly 650 ft. above ground. We also have over twelve acres of land available at the site for future construction, shelters and/or earth stations.

The Marlin site is extremely attractive to tenants since co-location costs are significantly reduced thanks to Marlin's extensive investment into infrastructure and site improvements. We have 1,000 amp, 208-volt, three-phase power on site along with ATT and Fibertek fiber on premises.   DSL is available on site and Comcast Cable is accessible from Route 44. Our grounding and security systems are cutting edge, and inside space and emergency power are available as an option.

It is important to note that MTL has worked close with the Town of West Hartford for years, and that the town has a very progressive policy towards companies who want to utilize the MTL tower site.
